Did brilliant at Burton but failed everywhere else but then that's probably true of a lot of managers, do well somewhere and not worked out anywhere else.
Seems to be something about Burton though. Their managers can't seem to do wrong as they all appear to be successful and punch above their weight with the club given their budget and resources.

A well run club with a clear vision and a solid succession plan/profile of what their managers should be perhaps?
Southampton and Swansea were similar until recent changes above presumably changed the thinking somewhere. You could argue that Reading have followed the same path.
