Maybe nowhere, maybe an ambassadorial type role. I can only guess at how a job like managing RM must absolutely consume you and there is no time for anything else in your life. That is very difficult to sustain.

This going out at the top thing fits in with the ending of his playing career too (headbutt aside obv)

genome Wasn't expecting that... I can see why he did it, but where exactly is he going to go now? It's not like you can move up from Real, is it?

How about Assistant Manager to PC?

Don't be ridiculous. He'll want to be manager here. I'm sure Clement would move back to Assistant Manager though.

Marco Silva appointed Everton manager in the least surprising news for quite some time.

Not sure why any manager would take a job there. Unless you just fancy a quick pay-off.

Biesla linked apparently. Guess he is in his 60s so nothing to lose and can top up the pension pot.

It was always a strange appointment for me. Don't think it was ever going to work.

Jaap Stam, anyone?

I'm assuming they're hoping he's just going to walk away when it looks like there's no money

You think he'll walk? I was under the impression from his language and body language toward the end of the season he was begging for the sack so he could get the big payout.

Looks like stalemate to me. Chelsea are probably hoping a big club will come in for him and pay compensation, Conte is hoping Chelsea will sack him and the big clubs are waiting for him to be sacked to avoid paying for him.

I doubt he'd walk for the very reason you say, but he might realise there's no money to be paid out at some point

Paul Tisdale unveiled as the new MK Dons manager. Why you'd want to leave a lovely part of the world and move to an absolute shitehole like Milton Keynes is beyond me but good luck to him, rate him quite highly.

Jolen Lopetegui named as Real Madrid manager with plan to take over after the World Cup.

Spanish FA understandably furious as he had recently signed a new 2 year deal and the SFA only found out he had taken the Real job 5 mins before it went public.

Reports coming out that he has now been fired by Spain and that sporting director Fernando Hierro and Spanish Under-21 coach Albert Celades will take charge of the team for the World Cup.

All this 2 day before they open against Portugal.

I had a feeling Spain were going to struggle before this happened and now I am convinced they will. Think they have a very weird squad, not a lot of pace in their starting line up. This news will only make things worse.
