Hoop Blah
leon Dear me, Luke Shaw likes his dinners.

That grey kit isn't very flattering but I ended up doing a google image search to see how he compares to his Southampton days. I never thought of him as chunky back then but I think it's fair to say he doesn't have the slimmest natural body shape.

He looked such a good prospect before his move. I know we love to build up these prospects but he really seems to have faltered since joining United and it's such a shame.

He's not long back from a broken leg tbf (to either him or JM)

Sanguine I'm trying to find reasons why United won't be in for Ryan Sessegnon in the summer. Luke Shaw is not helping this.

I think everyone should be in for him to be honest. He can't seem to do anything wrong in the Championship.

If I was the footballing overlord I'd move Rose to United and stick Sessengnon under Pochettino at Spurs (as long as he does go to Real) where he'd be better looked after than at United and probably play a lot more.

As a related aside, I read yesterday that before last night Rashford (who came on at half time) had only played 128 minutes of Premier League football since Boxing Day. That's not great for his continued development.

Not buying that, he came back from the broken leg around September/October time and he was criticised for his fitness and conditioning long before that.

IIRC he'd just started to hit a bit of form before the leg break but before that he'd struggled quit a bit at United (for whatever reasons).

I think he needs to get away from United to just play games and get back his career back on track. Spurs would again be a decent option for him as well to be fair.

Any truth to the rumour that when he broke his leg gravy came out?

Luke Shaw came on last night to provide the extra width United needed

He'd be about sixth choice full back at Spurs though

That.
Spurs have got more full-backs than Liverpool have attacking midfielders.

They've got two left backs, Davies and Rose, and my suggestion was following on from the earlier one about Rose moving to United. It doesn't really matter how many right backs they've got it's really a choice of two on the left and so my point was that he needs to get away from United and if Rose were to move on the Spurs would be a good place for him to relaunch his career.

Burnley would be a good fit for Shaw.

What a great side they are.

John Smith Burnley would be a good fit for Shaw.

What a great side they are.

Burnley again displaying this weekend what an absolute credit they are to the English game.

If I could 'choose' the team I supported and was starting again, I'd definitely pick Burnley.

Think I might make a Burnley-specific thread.

Burnley also has both an R & L as well so you're spoilt for choice on the thread title

Mourinho
Pogbalotelli
Sanchez

I suppose Man Utd will grind out a few more charmless 1-0 wins and finish 2nd but dear oh dear, what a godawful mess the Manager is creating.

Sir Alex and Sir Bobby must be aghast at what they are seeing before their eyes.

So it's the fans' fault this time or is it a gypsy curse on Old Trafford?

Maybe he should try pissing on the corner flags. "Is not my fault, is the evil spirits. The pitch, it be the only thing Jose not pissed all over yet."

Sanchez coming in seems to have disrupted things a bit doesn't it?

Obviously Mourinho doesn't really help with the way he sets them up and stifles them but the side just lacks balance and cohesion from the little I've seen of them play.
