BR0B0T Shite night for Utd

Ref sends Pogba off but not the geezer who goes on to score their first goal.

Once Lingard and Martial had to be subbed off it was all over

Sanchez is FCUKING SHITE totally unbalances the side and doesn't track back

You don't get much for paying a player £350,000 per week or whatever it is.
Surely a side isn't weakened much by one sub being a £95 ,000,000 player and the other a World Cup winner?

Maybe they just have too many players, after all they made 6 changes on Saturday to keep this lot fresh.

Once again they must be grateful to De Gea for preventing a massacre.

Mata has zero pace and Sanchez isn't that quick. Neither trackback. As soon as PSG realized they pushed their backline up another 20yards and were able to press the midfield. The Mata sub killed the game, he just doesn't fit the style. Bring Lukaku (who is also shit) on and move Rashford to one of the wings.

I'm not a fan of hypothetical 'do this and this would have happened' scenarios but bringing RL on would have at least been a similar setup to what we currently use

Sanchez always wants to cut in and is not disciplined. On the lead up to one of the goals he goes centrally and points to Pogba to take the left side of the pitch. Sanchez loses the ball and Pogba is out of position. By cutting in he also takes any space for Pogba to move into (Marquinos did a great marking job tbf).

Be that as it may, the subs weren't novices (far from it) so any decent manager would have changed the set-up to take their different skills into account.

Many minus points for Ole last night.

Yeah that was a massive dick move and should've been sent off for it.

for what though, a slight nudge with the shoulder

Sent him flying into the hoardings and down a severe, brick lined, slope (which everyone is aware of). Young is a nasty player and isn't shy about leaving one on an opponent. He did a lot of nasty challenges in the Reading game as well.

He is a coward and one of the worst divers ever seen in English football.
A shame to see what he has become from the scrawny little speedy winger who came on as sub against us some years ago at Vicarage Road and did well.

Credit to Pogba for owning up to the challenge that should have been a straight red anyway.

Although nothing would have been more satisfying that seeing Young slink off - he gets away with so much it's untrue

yeah, Klopp is well known for his plan B

although to be fair he's been developing getting offside goals allowed this season

Not sure what Klopp (top of the league) has to do with Man Utd and their current manager.

Klopp (NOT currently top of the league) needs either plan A or plan B against Man Utd and their current manager in their next league game.

Or another couple of offside goals

Interesting that people go on about the offside goal at West Ham when they forget that Salah was wrongly given offside when in on goal later in the game.
Sorry, I should have said JOINT top with a game in hand.
Anyway this topic concerns Man Utd who are , regardless of any plans A-Z , miles behind Liverpool with only a remote chance of crawling into 4th spot.

Still think it is unlikely but now they are out of the Champs League and possibly out of the FA Cup on Monday they may have a bit of a chance to make 4th spot.
BTW 4th spot for the club that some people is the biggest in the world is not great is it and 5th would be even worse?

Have Man City had 10 goals deducted ?
And Origi was allowed to carry on when in on goal when also clearly offside. You can't have one without the other.
And Mane was offside when scoring last week.
Best Liverpool win the league this year as they would have struggled with VAR in operation - may even have got fewer penalties

Much as I hate to admit it, United are probably in pole position for 4th now.

We don't know if Origi had scored whether it would have been disallowed.
Have Man Utd or any other team not had marginal offside goals allowed, e.g. Harry Kane's goal v Chelsea a few weeks ago.?

Goal difference only counts at the END of the season-for the moment Liverpool are joint top.

A bit of a chance, LOL. Take your Liverpool tinted glasses off and accept they are the in-form team domestically and they are in pole position for 4th. Chelsea are falling apart under Sarri and Arsenal aren't exactly doing much better.

yeah prolly out of the champs league

not sure how much they value the FA cup. I'd rather they concentrate on fourth but they may not want to lose two in a row so field a strong team

Fourth is fcuking amazing considering JM's dreadful football

Think Martial and Lingard likely out for the Liverpool game

Chelsea putting out a stronger team than United. We should do alright but there isn't much depth in the United squad (just a lot of names that aren't doing it at the moment)

The change in Man Utd under OGS has been remarkable and underlines (if ever it was needed) what an incredibly awful manager Mourinho has become.

Oh, and they are absolutely nailed on for Top 4.

As for Vic’s take on the league table as it stands.....
