Manchester City have been charged in relation to The FA’s Rules on Anti-Doping.
It is alleged the club failed to ensure that their ‘Club Whereabouts’ information was accurate, contrary to Regulation 14(d).
City have until 19 January 2017 to respond to the charge

Interesting. How come in other sports its the individual athlete that has to do the whereabouts stuff but football its down to the club?

In this case, it's the club at fault.

Regulation 14(a) reminds clubs that they must furnish the FA upon request with any whereabouts information, which at a minimum should include the dates their players train, the start and finish times of training, the address at which such training will take place; and the home address for a player and any other address at which they regularly reside overnight.

Regulation 14(c) also tells clubs that it will be a breach of the regulation for a club to fail to provide regular details of the times, dates and venues of the club’s training sessions in the manner directed by the FA. Regulation 14(d) – which Manchester City have violated – says it is a breach of the regulations if the information contained in such reports is either initially inaccurate or has not been updated by the club as necessary to ensure it remains accurate.

Still seems a bit lax for a 24x7x365 whereabouts scheme compared to other sports though doesn't it.

Pellegrini must be smirking a little at the moment.

In what way?
I didn't see the interview but I should imagine that he was a bit miffed about the penalty that was not given for the blatant push on Sterling that could have put City 3-1 up when instead Spurs went down the other end and scored.

His general petulant, sulky behaviour, mumbling arrogantly through interviews.

MOTD presenter: Pep what was your view on the penalty incident

Petulant Child: what? Is that really your first question. You're the BBC. You're supposed to be prestigious (LOL) and you want to ask me about that?

His reaction to the question was pretty cringe worthy and did him no favours whatsoever.

As one of them said in the studio, the ref not giving that as a penalty is exactly why we see players diving and rolling around to try and win a penalty or free kick.

Whilst I agree to a certain extent. There were two clear penalties yesterday (for Hull and Arsenal) not given when the players went to ground.

Not sure why you're taking that tone you kn0b.

I never mentioned them and no they would have reacted nearly as bad but not quite.

In recent weeks I've started to feel really fed with football, specifically the big teams in the premier league and all that's associated with it.

The "drama" that always seems to surround them. The stupid press conferences, the god awful opinionated pundits and commentary teams. The analysis after, the outrage when something minor doesn't go their way, the hypocritical nature of the whole event.

Watching interviews like The one I mentioned just adds the final nail in the coffin of enjoyment

So so so disappointed they threw that away. I'm now going to have to be a Chelsea fan on Cup Final day which is saying something.

Pep out.
