LUX
No Fixed Abode So Bournemouth spend out on transfer fees but pay lower wages. Reading don't pay out on transfer fees but pay higher wages.

Still, what an achievement by such a 'little club'.

tell you what, when they get to play Chelsea, my heart might everso slightly favour those plucky Cherries.

John Madejski's Wallet Bournemouth look to be a team playing more on confidence rather than outright quality.
Unless they can improve the quality, a small run of losses will knock the confidence out of them

I thought the opposite. The first and second goals last night were so good, they could also have been scored in the premiership. They have a bit of quality.

As long as their goalie doesn't throw the ball into their own net several times in the first few games they should have an enjoyable season with a few highlights to look back on.

I really hope QPR go down, but does anybody know what happens if they do?

They have a monster penalty. If they refuse to pay then they would
be excluded from the league.

Would an extra team come up from league 1, or would we only relegate two?

i suspect (if they go down) that some 3-4-5 years deal will be arranged
but it will be interesting if they simply say "We have no money"

Anyone know what the fine is, and how much of the parachute it would eat up?

And, say QPR said, "We'll pay you at the end of 2015-16 from our PP
and then they got promotion, were back in the top flight and said, "No we won't..."?

The top 3 in the championship after the first day of the season read:

1. Bournemouth
2. Watford
3. Middlesbrough

... going into the last day of the season and that remains the same(albeit Bournemouth and Watford switch-a-roo), when was the last time that happened?

New single from The National - "Sunshine On My Back" (So mellow, it almost sounds like The Blue Nile at times.)

I know you're not allowed to like mk dons, but they've got 91 points (after today) and have scored 100 goals. Would be gutted for them if they don't finish second.

Not an issue... MK Dons joint Bristol City in the champ. Leyton Orient, Notts County and crawley all relegated with Yeovil.

Couldn`t happen to a nicer club or owner (QPR) hope they get absolutely hammered by the FFP rules next year.

If it wasn't for "football luddites" you wouldn't have a Football Club to support.

I absolutely detest MK Dons. I had a fuking mental ex GF who lived there ... Not at all a football fan but Milton Keynes is a soulless place, it's like a massive industrial estate.

Milton Keynes - I hate the name, the fact they think they're centre of the bloody universe. My ex always used to say "I'm going up the city". Stupid wh0re

As for MK Dons. I've Been there once as I had a free ticket to see them play Millwall.

It's a ground about 10x too big for them. They have an appallingly low number of fans.

The sooner they go back down the better.

... Did I mention I dislike the club?

They are probably rubbing their hands in glee at the prospect of Spurs moving in soon....

Nothing will happen, FL will stamp their feet a bit to show displeasure and then let them off or try to enforce they pay any fines over several seasons to which QPR will threaten legal action and the FL will back down. Plus if they were rejected from FL membership I bet the PL would start sticking up for them saying that if the FL refuse to accept their membership then the PL might have to reconsider accepting FL clubs in to play with them. After all you can't have a club being relegated from the PL being deemed as unacceptable for the FL as it would besmirch the wonderful  PL product.
