Next England Manager

It's only a matter of time before England get knocked out and Roy is on his way.
Who's your money on for the next boss?

If he can make it past Iceland into the quarters, then he's hit target. Losing to France wouldn't be a big deal, they're a big nation and hosting. So I think he'll have to contrive an Icelandic wonder win to lose his job, or maybe an absolutely tonking by the French would do it, Brazil v Germany style.

That's assuming he's up for extending given his advancing years, and I think he is.

I don't want to predict something that should be a couple of years away from happening.

Ideally

Someone who is English
Someone who isn't afraid to be their own man
Someone who can build a team and won't just select the same old faces and media "flavours of the month" because they're the best individuals

Is there anyone who fits that bill?

Wasn't there something a while back about the FA talking to Brendan Rogers?

Ok, well it is necessary then.

I don't really care. The players don't deserve a manager, let alone a good manager.

As opposed to terrible football and being utterly and completely embarrassing in tournaments?

Rather Big Sam and an obvious limited gameplan with players giving their all than the leaderless, spineless and utterly ridiculous player selection from a totally inept numpty who is out of his depth.
