Agreed. Terrible decision. Never a penalty. Although it was a gr8 comeback PSG, despite playing shite should feel robbed.

*As soon as the 6th went in I knew they'd mention Istanbul  Only took a minute.

Commentary was woeful too. Martin Tyler kept saying Barca need 6 if PSG score. No, they 3 goals you massive numpty as they have already scored 3. :|

I understand Lineker getting overexcited as he used to play for them but the others must be putting that on a bit. Has Owen shown that much movement since he was about 23?

Stevie G touching Rio up is a bit weird

just football being really exciting I guess. I didn't watch last nights the game but I have said before that when 'Aguerooooo!' happened I literally leaped up of my sofa onto my feet with excitement. Just getting caught up in the moment as a football fan (also see the Deeney goal we discussed recently too)

Joke of a penalty decision but tbh as a neutral part of me doesn't care. Proper theatre

tbf i did almost the same thing

If you're a neutral then i guess seeing something amazing like that in a game makes you love the game, rather than the teams playing.

Exactly - I've had the same reaction watching (as above) Aguero's winner, Watford's end-to-end playoff victory, United's CL turnaround in '99. It's football, innit?

Same, I switched over after Borussia Dortmund put that tie out of reach. Such a fun last 20 minutes of football.

Martin Tyler?

Exciting stuff and Barcelona have a habit of doing this.
IIRC v Man Utd (Romario show) and (?) 5-1 v Chelsea.
Shame it was on BT because when I went into work and said "did you see the game last night?" nobody had.

Busy week so I'm late to write up on this but watched the game with my psg supporting mate and I thought Barcelona were disgraceful. The stats flatter them they were awful. If psg weren't slightly more awful it would have been a terrible game.
The foul simulating was disgusting to watch. Both penalties were as soft as possible and the fact the ref missed the blatant Foulden on di Maria only made it worse.
I do hope uefa demote the ref. He was so poor.
My hate for barca grows every day that I read the fanboys fawn over that shitshow.

Leicester City looking good again.......

Can't believe they're going to win the Champions League this season.

Hendo
LUX Oh I agree anything might happen, but (on current form) Monaco should make light work of City.

I would agree with that. City should come out of their slump, plus reinforcements could come in during Jan.

I suppose it wasn't light work, but over the two legs Monaco were far better.

It's gr8 that the only English team left is the non-glory boy team. Plus Chelsea and Man U didn't even qualify.
