Good to Spurs fans on Sunday agreeing there are too many ex Liverpool players as pundits.

genome Mild spin-off not really enough for a separate thread:

What are your favourite bits of commentary :?:

Must say I loved Rob Hawthorne for Shane Long's winner against Germany.

Peak Hargreaves tonight, when talking about Pogba's struggles this season:

"The problem is he's too good at everything."

Monaco v Man City

In the studio at the stadium - Rio Ferdinand and Richard Dunne. (I'm thinking blimey, no ex-Liverpool FC representation). "Let's go to our commentator xxxxxxx and Steve Mcnanaman" :| FFS! There it is!

Not a pundit, more a reporter, but I'm a big fan of Dickie Davies on Sky Soccer Saturday.

Old school.

Many pundits, especially at the Shearer/BT Sports end of the spectrum, are regularly guilty of making apologies for red card tackles. They claim that the offences look worse in slow motion or the referee is showing he doesn't understand the game. The ball is often there to be won, or the dirty fouling bastard is just not that kind of player. I wonder if this will change after the leg break last night.

John Hartson was refreshingly honest. Along the lines of "You don't go on the pitch with the intention of injuring someone but there's no excusing that, it was an awful challenge"

Best of the new breed, our very nearly own Tommy Smith.

Confident, relaxed, photogenic and no stupid oxf*rd Northern accent.

Special mention to Ray Parlour for being abysmal and as obsessed with the top PL teams than many deluded arm chair fans. I don't think he realises there are other leagues in English football

Hold on. What?! You are joking. Seriously, you are trolling more than Kes and Taipai Royal now..... there's no other leagues apart from the EPL. Everybody knows that EPL invented football in 1992.

Haha yep guilty! I was trolling.
