Well thats Chelsea's league title won then pretty much. Another year and another 'best team ever' that cannot win a trophy.

Don't think Tottenham should get any stick. Great, English talent and spend fcuk all on wages (in the grand scheme), don't break the bank in transfer fees, and they have been excellent this season. Just need a bit more depth in the squad to go the long haul.

It's your City's, United's and Arsenals that should be embarrassed for not even slightly competing.

+1 to this, excellent first XI but they do look a bit thin on the ground when looking at their squad.

Need to not draw so many games.

Looks like we've unearthed another Arsenal fan. They weren't ever top btw, don't really think you can bottle something you're chasing.

Exactly. If a game isn't going Chelsea's way they can bring a Willian or Pedro off the bench to change the game. Spurs don't really have that.

And That's why they will never win the league

+2

Refreshing to see so many English players making a bid for the Prem. But yes, outside the first XI it does look that they are thin on the ground. Nine match winning streak not to be sniffed at.

LOL at ArsenaLOL fans on Twitter last night. Would love Wenger to sign a new contract.

Consider; Chelesea didn't have any European games this season- fewer opportunities for injuries, tiredness....Spurs are a team in development, maybe they are three short of a squad, but hey ho, don't it make it all more interesting.

Can we now discuss who is 'home' or 'away ' when they play WHU next season? Which team will have the most/loudest fans? Can either team generate an atmosphere?

Always happy to laugh at Spurs but it was already Chelsea's title. Have you seen their run-in?

For the match at Wembley Tottenham will be the home team while in the reverse fixture at the London Stadium The Hammers will be the hosts

I can only imagine SSN are full of West Ham fans as they seem to be far fewer excited about the closure of WHL than they were about the Boleyn last season. I particularly liked that one of their "Memory Lane" segments featured that time when Tottenham were 3-0 up against Man U and lost 5-3

Getting a bit sick of all this totally over the top nonsense about WHL closing that the media keep spewing

Spurs are only moving about 50 yards to the right of the current pitch not miles away

I know right. I don't recall so much fuss or a closing down ceremony when Stamford Bridge was redeveloped to what it is now. Although I think WHU set a precedence with the move from The Boleyn Ground to the London stadium (although that was different as they actually moved). All that razzmatazz is expected now.

My only miftness is around all this 'the lane' business. I know 2 spurs fans who have only ever referred to it by its full name, but in the last 2 weeks they are all about 'The Lane'.

Have to agree with a lot of this thread:

1) Spurs deserve credit for their efforts this season and I've enjoyed [as a neutral] watching them play. Some of the best English talent around in that team as well.

2) Absolute :farrell: at the fuss being made about moving from WHL when you can see the new ground about twenty fooking yards away.

I'm sure we're already all looking forward to the "We're leaving Wembley" farewell party.

Romance of the FA Cup is going to be well and truly pissed on next year when Spurs get a home tie. In theory they could win the cup having played every single tie at Wembley.
