I know that Man City are a steamroller come the end of the season but I'm minded of the 2012/13 season where City and Utd traded 5-point differences. The title was decided on the last day by a single-goal

I think City are a different machine to that now

Said it before and I'll say it again. Cole Palmer is very special.

Even with Everton’s abject defending Palmer is different class

If he’s not in the England squad Southgate will have lost the plot (notwithstanding he has some very serious competition for a place … Foden, Saka, Bellingham)

He surely will be, though I expect Saka, Bellingham and Foden will be ahead in the starting XI. More to the point, why did City sell him?

Helped balance their books.

Chelsea 4-0 up and their players still make a fool of themselves. Idiotic scenes with that penalty.

From what little I know, Pep doesn’t take kindly to his players telling him what team to pick (see also Cancelo), irrespective of how good they are
If City win one, two or three trophies this season it may be difficult to argue that he got it wrong

can't remember the last time a young player just seemed to come from nowhere to doing what Palmer is doing. He seems to have gone from being just another youngster at City who had a handful of appearances and didn't look good enough for that level, to a few months later being one of the best players in the Premier League. Got to have some kind of mentality to be able to do that.

only down side are his post match interviews, which the media should just agree to not do again.

Absolutely - didn't see any of them wanting to take the 100th min penalty to equalise v Utd did you?

Who cares if Palmer had his hattrick already - it is his job, so unless he decides to let you have it, walk away and then prove in training that you are a better choice to take them in future. Just shows they were more interested in personal tallies than the team.

PL top goalscorer. Cole has an extra game than the rest left to play too

He wanted to leave, or rather he wanted to be playing every week so chose to leave as he wouldn't be playing every week at City. He may have got more game time there this season but he wouldn't have been playing every week or been the main man like he's been at Chelsea. Fair play to him for backing himself and moving from City at his age.

Has Ange Postecoglu done a good job?

certainly hasn't done a bad job, but I can't help wonder if the man of the people persona and the early season good run of form has convinced people he is doing a much better job than he really is.

I think he has Tottenham a much more attractive proposition to potential future signings. He very much would appear to be a manager players would want to play for.

Do think that's an often overlooked draw. Dele Ali was saying last night that he spoke with Brendan about Liverpool when he was at MK Dons. He didn't specifically say that put him off, but he was pretty glowing about his pre-signing chats with Poch before joining Spurs.

We are 11 days away from possibly being able to say Spurs have won just 10 league games in the past half a year
