Didn't Lyon win at Man City recently?

I had no idea that fixture was played in the French league........

It is just an example of the capability of a team other than PSG.
Has anything happened to stop the dominance of Bayern Munich,Juventus or Celtic?

Many teams have got very near for the first 2, it will not be soon (hopefully this season) before one of them falls.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY would love to see Hearts, OR EVEN BETTER Rangers win it this year in ScotLOLand.

Problem with PSG is that until they win the CL they will just buy every player they can.

This. And this is the issue the other French league clubs have. Their issue is the authorities not doing enough to ensure the FFP rules are adhered to, PSG loophole their way through it non-stop.

Just another instance in life of a rich billionaire Arab Sheikh from an Oil Rich nation not abiding by the laws and running roughshed over everybody else with no punishment.

FIFA and UEFA need to Restore Accountability.

I must say I do enjoy the bolding of certain words in points you are making. It is a great accompanying to the use of italics John Smith and I use.

Key words like Restore Accountability and They Must Go need some emphasis.

It should be done more often.

Every bit of 1st half play that Frenkie De Jong was involved in for Ajax last night against Benfica. 21 year old midfielder who has been talked up a lot recently. it's only a short video, and only the 1st half, but he looks very good on there

Barca beat Real 5-1. Real now languishing in 9th, and that's surely the end of Lopetegui.

Bet he feels really chuffed with his life choices. Missed a World Cup to be out on his ear in a few months. At least he'll be financially secure for the rest of his life.

Conte apparently wanting too much money and to bring in too many people with him, 5 new coaches apparently so Madrid likely to turn their attention to Roberto Martinez :o

ROFL.

We all knew that FA Cup victory over Man City would come in handy one day.

Two more goals from Sancho for Dortmund at the weekend, and his third successive league start. What an impact this kid is having - only one player has been involved in more goals than Sancho's 10 so far this season in Bundesliga, although Sancho has done it in just 376 minutes on the pitch.

Santa Clara 4 points off the top in Portugal. Promoted last season. They are from the Azores, 2 1/2 hour flight from the mainland. Must seem odd going all that way. I wonder how that affects Santa Clara's finances when they are down in the lower divisions

Cocu sacked by Fenerbahce. They are 4th from bottom and play away to Galatasaray on Friday night. A loss in that and results going against them over the weekend and they could be bottom

Malaga are top of the Spanish 2nd division. Jack Harper, the Spanish born Scotland international is a regular for them.

Wondered where he was. He used to be "the next big thing" at Real Madrid.
