So, yes then?

Each to their own and I don't know anything about you, but it seems strange for and English football fan to take such an entrenched position in the Barca/Real stuff. Weird.

Juve General Manager and others were in a restaurant, when they left someone went to their table and among their leftovers was a ripped up bit of paper

Chiesa €50M
Romero €20M
Tonali €20M
Zanioli €10M

The bit in the top right is most interesting

Pjanic & Savie (Milinkovic-Savic) who have been rumoured to be involved in a potential swap deal

Into injury time and Valencia still need 2 goals to get through the cup tie

Lovely stuff

There were 2 red cards after that video clip too!

Good stat this from Scotland. Hearts last won the Scottish League title in 1959-60. In 1964-65, Hearts lost out to Kilmarnock on goal average by 0.04 goals (goals scored divided by goals conceded), which was used back then to split ties. They'd have won it on goal difference and successfully lobbied the league to change the rules. In 1985-86, Hearts lost the title on goal difference to Celtic (by three goals), but would have won the league had they still been using goal average.

Alfredo Morelos sent off for the fourth time this season last night for Rangers (and the third time against Aberdeen ) - equals the European record 'held' by his Rangers team-mate Ryan Jack, and Sergio Ramos, albeit Ramos has the 'real' record, since two of Jack's, and one of Morelos' red cards have been rescinded.

That Joao Felix got one of the goals. He is one of Europe's 'next big things' I believe.

This reminds me. There's one team in Portugese women's football. Almost literally.
There must have been a minor earthquake in Lisbon on 30th January, when SL Benfica, the Benfica women's side, conceded a goal for the first time in their history, in a 5-1 cup win at Maritimo, the current league champions. Their current league record, after thrashing CP Pego 32-0, is 14 wins from 14, with 257 goals scored, and none conceded. The club was formed this year and entered the women's second division.

Girona put in the effort that they never against Barcelona by deservedly beating Real Madrid 2-1 at the Bernabeu.

Awful display in the second half from Madrid. Showing that Solari is lost when teams make even the smallest tactical changes during a game.

I am so glad when they lose. Especially after what happened vs ajax.

In other Spanish news ..... unlike the seemingly forever changing and dissolving Italian leagues (as above.......), the Spanish 2nd division is playing with one less team for the first time in years

Finished 20-0 with Pro Piacenza fielding a team of 7 teenagers. They had no coaching staff so the team captain was player/manager.

As an aside on Real Madrid.
In a weekend article it said that Bale , after 6 years, can hardly speak any Spanish, doesn't mix much with the other players and is known as "the golfer" as that is what he spends most of his time doing.

With the team unlikely to win much for the foreseeable future I can see him returning to English football but unlikely the best such as Liverpool, City or Chelsea because of his injury record.

Pleased to see that sandman is still crying about Barcelona.

Presumably Cuneo took it easy after 40 minutes, scoring just six more goals.
