Former Town boss Jim Magilton has been suspended by QPR pending an investigation into the incident involving midfielder Akos Buzsaky after their defeat to Watford earlier in the week. Magilton is reported to have headbutted the Hungarian.

A QPR statement released this morning said: “The club can confirm that manager Jim Magilton has been suspended with immediate effect, pending an internal investigation.

“The suspension relates to an incident which occurred at Monday's Championship fixture against Watford at Vicarage Road.”

Magilton joined the R’s in the summer having been sacked by the Blues in April. The Northern Irishman, assisted by John Gorman as he was in his latter days at Portman Road, has taken the London club to 12th in the Championship table.

I'm guessing it relates to Buzsaky, he was on borrowed time anyway, you only get 3 months to win the league at QPR.

Darren Ferguson me thinx.

Bizarre. I read yesterday that Buszaky had sat waiting in the toilets, locked out of the dressing room whilst Magilton ranted at his players for half an hour. Assumed he had accidentally been locked out, but maybe not.

From the Beeb:
QPR have suspended manager Jim Magilton with immediate effect, pending an internal investigation.

The 40-year-old's suspension relates to an incident that occurred at Monday's 3-1 defeat by Watford at Vicarage Road.

QPR have won only one of their last seven matches and the Watford loss followed a 5-1 humbling by Reading at Loftus Road on Saturday.
Magilton was appointed on 3 June 2009, succeeding Paulo Sousa after the Portuguese was sacked on 9 April 2009.

Jeez, I missed that!!

John Gorman and Keith Ryan have decided not to work at the club until Magilton is reinstated.

Sacked = internal investigation found Magilton headbutted Buszaky, presumably.

QPR don't half like their mediocre managers don't they? Iain Dowie, Paolo Sousa, Jim Magilton, now Paul Hart :|

As someone said earlier, it's like they don't want us to get promoted, the moment we start doing ok, something happens, the average time a manager, under Flavio, spends in charge at QPR is 25 games, so with a cup run taken on board, Hart has until the 24th April.

That would be a humourous birthday present if Hart wasn't there then
