A number of reporters saying Man City close to signing Aubameyang.

Anywhere between €60M - €75M being quoted.

With transfer fees heading ever increasingly up, how far are we from the first £100m player?

It can't be long. The Premier League teams have a significant extra bit of money this year and Man Utd would have to play something like that sum if they wanted Bale, Ronaldo or even Harry Kane.

Little stat I found - only 8 English sides have ever paid more than £20m for a player - yet Manchester City have done it 19 times, Chelsea 15, Manchester United 12, and Liverpool 9.

Money talks eh?

There's four, Arsenal would make five. Tottenham six. Everton for Lukaku seven. Who else?

Good call. Although the articles I've found lists that as an initial 18m rising to 24m with add ons. Semantics I guess, but you're probably right.

Italian media reporting that Roma have accepted Juventus €30M (+ €2M in add ons) offer for Pjanjic.

Interestingly it has been known for some time that Pjanjic had a €38M buy out clause in his contract. It had been reported that he was trying to engineer a move away recently and pissing off Roma, then a few days ago someone mysteriously leaked to the media that if Pjanjic had his buy out clause met then he got 15% of the transfer. Straight after the leak Juve make the €30M + €2M offer and Roma accept meaning Roma get around the same money they would have got but Pjanjic doesn't get his cut

I would like to know how many of those players turned out to be shit? We have the internet now, with every fact available, so how easy would it be to produce a list of Man City's 17 carthorses, Aguerro and de Bruyne?

Chelsea will only sell should they bring in their main targets. Morata and Lukaku.

I don't want Diego to leave though. Gr8 player and good entertainment.

Well it seems some people at the club such as Emenalo didn't want to sell him in the first place, but it was Jose's doing he went.

Morata has said he would prefer a move to UTD.

Goes without saying I suppose.

This is on the BBC website. Now Deeney had an excellent season but £20M, really?

There have been plenty of rumours in the last few days regarding Premier League champions Leicester City bidding for Watford striker Troy Deeney.

As I understand it Watford have turned down an official offer of around £20m for the striker but I’m told he’s not for sale. Deeney is a huge part of Watford not just for his goals, assists and work-rate but also for his leadership and character. He’s also a massive fans favourite

Neymar cost reaches €111M

http://www.marca.com/en/football/barcelona/2016/06/10/575ac989ca4741b4688b4588.html

Those figures showed that the cost of the forward's arrival had increased to 86.2m euros: 7.9m for right for first refusal for three players, 10m for a signing bonus, 2m for scouting, 4m for future sponsorships, 2.5m for the Neymar charity foundation and 2.7m for the player's agent, his father.
Then in February 2014, the hearing made public the amount that was allegedly defrauded and the club soon paid 13.5m to curb any future issues.
At that point, the cost of the signing had reached 99.7m euros.
However, Santos have since been due further payments.
They were entitled to 2m euros when Neymar became a Ballon d'Or finalist in 2016 and to 4.5m euros given that Barcelona appears unlikely to fulfil their promise of playing Santos in a friendly.
With Friday's fine added on, the total has reached 111.2m euros.
