BraisingsteakRoyal Went to Basingstoke v Gosport Borough last night. A fairly easy 5-0 win for Basingstoke, although three goals in the last 10 or so minutes added extra sheen. Don't recall Gosport having an attempt on goal until a defence mistake by the B'Stoke left back with a few minutes to go forced a really good low-down save out of the keeper.
A few first teamers missing or didn't start, but the younger lads passed the ball well and took their chances. 5 wins in a row in all competitions i think,

How much for adult admission at Basingstoke these days? Are there still issues with ground ownership?

Gosport are in absolute pieces as a club. Lost their funding last season and have basically zero budget. Amazing to think they were in the play offs for the NL in May last year.
Another sad example of living off a benefactor with nothing to prop it up. Whitehawk are in a similar state & will follow them into oblivion.
