Windsor travel to Biggleswade.

Nothing to fear there based on what I saw on Sunday. A local seemed to suggest they were several players light from his last visit, which might explain there recent form.

Watching the Woking v Watford game I loved it that part of the ground is known as Moaners Corner.
Would like us to have the same at the Mad Stad but it might need more than a corner.

Recent form doesn’t look too shabby to me!

The table I’ve looked at shows them 3rd in the league, 2 points behind joint leaders, but with 3 and 5 games in hand. One defeat all season and unbeaten in their last 15 league games.

Match reports in programme suggested they were well below normal form. They looked limited to me. Possibly players moved on as they are a development team in all but name. I think you’ve got a decent draw.

Game likely on the Sunday, unless Windsor fancy a Friday night.

Like it

Think it sounds a bit too proactive to be adopted by Reading!

I posted the other day that I watched them vs Thatcham in the Vase last season, really should've beaten them too. From what I remember they're similar to a Development side but are really more of a splinter team built up of a very successful U18 team that wanted to stay together and then strengthened their squad as they progressed,

I think they had a few players that were being scouted by League sides last season, but then all young players say that I guess!

Bishops Cleeve v Binfield - terrible performance from ‘Moles’ on Tuesday – humbled 0-4 at basement side Ab. Utd - presumably selection headaches ongoing for Binfield who seem to be missing a significant chunk of their squad to unavailability/injury/suspension?

Shrivenham
v Holmer Green
Virginia Water
v Tuffley Rovers

Wokingham & Emmbrook v Holyport
Woodley United
v Burnham
HELL2E
14:15 Yateley United v Long Crendon
HELLENIC Floodlit Cup
Longlevens v Langley

- On Monday last: I trundled over to Sw!nedon (Supermarine RFC pitch) to watch the ‘stundents’ of New College continue their hapless way through the Hellenic One West campaign
- They were 0-6 down at H/T to Clanfield and I rather feared the worst. Wasn’t a great spectacle of course – to be fair they rallied very well 2nd half and their younger legs started to stretch the visitors – who may well have dropped a couple of gears with that kind of lead.
- NCS actually ‘won’ the 2nd half 1-0 with a great instinctive half-volley from about 25 yds that flew high over the keeper into the far corner.
- Their record now is P16 W1 L15 GD -111 - and are level on points with Tytherington and Nor Lye 2nds

Tadley Calleva
Baffins Milton Rovers

I see that Billericay Town have parted company with ANOTHER manager. The sooner Tamplin pisses off the better. What was once a good place to go, it's now nothing short of being a basket case of a club.

Some of the big "name" players also left late last year and results are becoming harder for them though they remain in the playoff positions.

Also I note that a new club, Jersey Bull, have been accepted into the CCL for next season. Looks like they're to follow the same model as Guernsey so though will be in the English pyramid system they won't play in the FA competitions.

Didn't quite fancy another trip to Pride Park this weekend, despite the decent win last weekend.
Instead, I will tick a new ground off by list: Fleet Town who will be playing Bideford. Hopefully they can get some points as they really are in need of them!

... not a bad set-up: though desperately short of cash - could do with some more funds and tlc around the ground generally.
Clubhouse big and roomy - Car Park can get a bit full if that is an issue. I always park along the road virtually opposite the entrance - Glen Rd - and there's a fair bit more along the next left past the ground heading away from the Town: Lea Wood Rd.

Station's a good mile 'n half away on foot.

When it's operating the food hut is OK - had been vandalised prior to my last visit back in August for a Cup tie involving their current 'lodgers' (Bagshot)

Purveyors of the dreaded on-line programme ; curse of the anorak - (well - the 'paper-chasing' variety) :

.... the former: the latter are still playing at Krooner Park (Camberley)

Baggy Lea were supposed to be moving into a new facility nr Farnham RFC @ Wrecclesham but there have been significant delays - now due to open late Autumn this year.
.... the two are often mixed up - doesn't help that Badshot (nr Aldershot) are referred to as 'Baggy' not 'Baddy' ? :?

Rea Ding Didn't quite fancy another trip to Pride Park this weekend, despite the decent win last weekend.
Instead, I will tick a new ground off by list: Fleet Town who will be playing Bideford. Hopefully they can get some points as they really are in need of them!

I went there about 9 years ago and at half time were selling small Domino's pizzas for £1. They also lost 2-0 to Bognor Regis Town.

- Got up to this – M40 & M42 well-behaved and there wasn’t really any ‘urban-Brum’ to negotiate.
- Ground was pleasant enough if fairly basic – decent food van- adequate bar. Kindly official went and dug out a badge for me from the Board Room.
- Visitors slightly more experienced at this level were too canny and eased to a win without too much fuss. They were simply bigger and faster than their somewhat diminutive hosts (only had two players close to 6 ft at most)
- I think I’ve got one left now in this division; only about 20’ away from here but much more within the Brum conurbation over at Sutton Coldfield

Thame United

NOTE Improved further with a 1-1 draw at home to VW last night (Monday) - didn't go - too bleedin' cold  and I had to drop middle -one off somewhere nr Windsor around 19:30, so would probably have missed the start.

Brackley Town Saints 0-0 Flackwell Heath
Brimscombe & Thrupp 3-1 Reading City - B&T are new leaders, though 'Saints in 2nd have games in hand and not too far away momentum seems to be building with Bps Cleeve and Wantage, who also have played a couple of matches less.
- Ascot not in action drop to 3rd.

Brackley Town Saints 0-3 Windsor

Unexpected win I have to say at top of the table team.

Another hat trick for Dan Roberts.

The good people of Eastbourne Town are extremely pissed off with Brighton & Hove Albion and the Sussex FA. They were due to meet this week in a Sussex Senior Cup Tie but Brighton called the game off as they could not raise a team (Under 23s of course). Had a non-league side called the game off, they would, no doubt, have been kicked out of the competition. The Susses FA, being made of slightly weaker stuff and completely lacking any sort of backbone, rolled over and said ok.
