Norfolk Royal
NewCorkSeth Anybody know how his trial is going?

The judge is summing up.

Apparently looks quite tidy but more of a midfielder than a striker

He's not very good at football but is nice to animals, knows some magic tricks and knows how to do the snake backwards.

He's been offered a contract. I've heard 3 years but need to look into it.

Yesterday was the obligatory press-conference before the next match (friday, Dortmund away), but obviously no one asked about his state, there are neither news about him in the newspaper. I suggest there will news on weekend, actually everything's focussed on Dortmund, injured players and Arnautoviç...

Happy with this if true. People will moan that he's a cheap option, but he's an international striker from the Bundesliga, with a great record in Belgium before that. Not much to complain about there.

Thanks for the update, I think part of this deal means that Werder will have to agree to send a case of Beck's to every season ticket holder at Reading

P.S. If you find another player like Mesut Ozil we would happily look after him for a small fee, much better than selling to Real Madrid! Also looks like he could be moving from Madrid, Manchester Utd were linked but not sure new coach David Moyes is agreeing to this transfer.

Except if he turns out to be another player who's no better than what we've already got, but we cannot answer that until the lad has been given a chance to show his worth, and we must trust the club to have signed him because he can be a regular started, and not because he's cheap.

Time will tell I guess.

If this guy does come he'll be on 20k a week minimum. That's not 'cheap'.

Wouldn't be free, either. Werder would want to recoup some of what they paid for him.

I doubt he'll need much money. Most Nigerians have a long lost relative with $30,0000,000 in an account in Zurich just waiting to be accessed.

Well, when we'll have to much creativity in midfield,Reading FC will be the first one to get in touch with. ;) Özil was the last creative midfielder we had, with his demission things got worse. Last season it was De Bruyne saving our ass for a big big part.Unfortunately it was impossible to continue the loan for another year. We may offer you our high-gifted Arnautoviç who's unfortunately caged in a childs mind. Roumours say that he refused offers of half PL,because he sees himself at Chelsea,ManU,City,Barca or Real.

PS: An infinite Beck's-well should be part of the deal for shure ;)

Local newspaper says that a decision will be made tomorrow, friday. They also say that our manager's thinking of a loan-deal, which is a bit suprising, in my eyes.

Werder Bremen - 22/08/2013
Akpala-Entscheidung steht bevor
Bremen. A week long Werder player Joseph Akpala (26) has played in the English second division side FC Reading - with what result, is still open. However, Werder sporting director Thomas gauge has announced a quick decision on Thursday.

By the Friday there should be clarity as to whether the path of the striker actually leads to England. Also still open is whether Akpala will initially only given, sold or permanently. Gauge apparently preferred a lending transaction with Reading FC.

Akpalas in Bremen contract runs until 2016. In the previous season, it had not made it into the squad of Green-Whites of Nigerians. Through the transfer of Franco di Santo to the Weser, the position of the striker has continued to deteriorate.

The green whites of Nigerians? Nigerians aren't normally green or white are they? Still the club is certainly being ethically diverse.

Isn't Belgium as big as cemetery junction, witha population of around 2400?

Doesn't sound very exciting. Sounds like getting a striker because we need one rather than being keen on him per se.

Still, a strikers a striker.
