Would you like any of these Reading loanees back and how long for or not at all?

I'd only take Aké and Chalobah back on permanent deals. We shouldn't waste time developing them for Chelsea and Aké in particular is no better than our young midfielders right now. On permanent deals, they're too good to turn down - although Chelsea wouldn't let them go and their wages would be prohibitive.

Mackie, it wouldn't really make a difference which we got him on as his contract is up at the end of the season. He's the one I'd be keenest to have back.

Appiah can take a hike.

I'd take all of them on loans tbh. We need anything we can get.

I'd agree with you on Mackie and Appiah but I'd take Ake and/or Chalobah back too.

I've great hopes for Kuhl and I'd hope Clark uses him more this season, on merit not desperation, but from what I saw Ake looked very good and his versatility would make him a great addition. Better than Kuhl and Tshibola? Probably, but very difficult to tell considering how little we've seen of all of them in proper competitive football.

I really feel that there is a lot more to Appiah. Yes, he missed a hatful on his debut but if you look at his application he showed real hunger and determination, signs of a player really wanting to prove himself. I just think that (without sounding like Andy Townsend) on another day he scores a hatrick vs. Cardiff and wins the fans over. He took his goal well against Derby and I wouldn't mind giving him another chance.

I think Ake and Chalobah speak for themselves - class acts. Is there a limit to the amount of loanees from one club?

Agree perm moves for Ake and Chalobah are cloud cuckoo land. I'd take Chalobah for a loan despite my misgivings about it not really being anything but short term benefit inhibiting our own kids. Not interested in Ake. Echo you on Appiah, unless he's a free transfer, I spose.

I'd have Mackie back in a flash.

I was hoping this would be a trip down memory lane and remember some loans from the past.

Matthew Upson was pretty impressive back in the day.
