Bradshaw was very poor today and offered nothing. Does not look to be Championship standard to me. If we had any interest before today I very much doubt we will follow it up now.

Don't even remember him touching the ball.

A bit like Billy Sharp or Gary Hooper-difficult to judge on just the one performance but doesn't look that special-the no.10 , who looks like a smaller version of the giant , leggy, ancient Kanu (ex-Arsenal and Pompey) was more impressive.

Agreed. Knew sawyers (?) was good for them and he was decent yesterday.

Maybe he just looked short compared to Cooper?

Bradshaw didn't look anything like a 6ft'er on Saturday.

He didn't look much cop either to be fair. A bit of a Le Fondre lower league poacher perhaps and not one I'd be desperate to pay over the odds for when we've got a few of our own waiting in line.

Suspect a relegated side with parachute payment will get him.

We should definitely take a chance on someone like this, I'm sure we will get beaten to it though. Fairly low risk really as he won't be particularly expensive but at 23 is still improving. He has also proven himself as a 20 goal a season man at League One level for the last two seasons.

Doubt we'll be able to compete if anyone from the Championship or PL shows an interest.

Was alright yesterday, got into good positions and played on the shoulder of the last man. Reminded me a little of Shane Long.

Although, I thought Romaine Sawyers ran the show from midflend and Neil Etheridge was very composed in goal. Anthony Forde was a constant threat and his skill on the ball was impressive - the Walsall fans said he's that was the best they've seen him play. Only 22, could see him at a top end Champ/lower Prem team in the next year or two.

Based on that game alone and our squad I'd be looking at those before Bradshaw.

All in all they had a decent young side that brushed Port Vale aside through their closeness and character - everyone seemed to be able to anticipate what would happen next and they had decent movement as well as harrying down throughout. Could see them staying up if they manage it through the playoffs.

Port Vale looked a threat themselves and although Walsall could have had two or three more I didn't think Vale would have looked out of place in the lower Champ.

Handed in a transfer request at Walsall. Think this ship sailed after Brian left though.

Yep, CW said a while back that Bri wante him, not the thais, and Jaap will have his own targets - sounds like he isn't one.

Fully expect him to be another Conor Washington tbf
