With Burnley being promoted, the Premiership might be too big an ask for Barnes to step up to, especially with money at the claret's disposal, however his reputation at this level is difficult to argue with.
Could we get him in for a season on loan at least?

Vydra's reputation at this level was difficult to argue with last summer. Loans are not the answer.
