Hound fully expect him to be loaned out today, but not to a potential play off contender.

mambo3 Strange one. If Stam's not playing him then why not sale him. Seems to be quite a few championship clubs interested.

One8Seven1* There was late interest, ironically, from Leeds. We seemed to have pissed them off somewhat by nabbing Grabban at the last minute. They thought they had that one nailed!

From Despair To Where? Good move for Samuel IMO, good club, good manager and they are crying out for a goalscorer so he should get games.

From Despair To Where? With us playing them on Saturday, I'd like to think we've inserted the clause.

Is the "can't play against your parent team" a rule automatically set in every loan contract now or just something that clubs put into the loan agreement themselves. I have a vague memory of Reading loaning a player to a team in the same division this century and that player then playing against them.

He can't play against us unless we agreed it as part of the loan agreement. Cl 52.7 of the league rules.
