Liam Kelly transfer rumours

by mumbo-jumbo » 03 Jun 2017 14:21

Sure there's going to be a few teams interested. Currently linked with Swansea, but undoubtedly there will be others, so I thought better to have his own thread. Would hate to lose him mind you.

I think he'd be smart to give it another year, and break into a team on a full time basis before making a big money move to sit on a bench.

Like another centre mid that left us last year..

Both him and Moore would be silly to jump ship now IMO. A good first half to next season and they'd have plenty more offers, or else possibly another shot at promotion with us which would surely be both' preferred option

Hopefully they both saw what happened to TIsh and will heed the warning.

In saying that, I can see them both kicking on if they were to leave.

And we thought Tish was going to do well for Villa. Fact is most players that leave us fail to make a significant impact else.

As much as I love him for the player he is and as a product of the youth academy, we know there is no loyalty left in football so wouldn't be overly fussed if he left as long as we got a big fee.

Sell him for a big price and get Tish back on a free!

I see that Swansea have offered their own little 'un one more year so Kelly might not be on their wanted list.

I think we should only accept a silly offer of say £8M+ for Kelly. As others have said, I agree I think he'd be wise staying with us at least one more season

BT will do well to 'sell' Williams

If Williams is here next season I think it's a good sign of intent from the new owners as I previously wouldn't have thought the Thais would stump up the wages Danny would probably command.

Yet, maybe they want to see how he does next year.
