Jordan Hugill understood to have made transfer request at Preston. Could a potential move to Reading be back on?

According to Sky, he has submitted a transfer request. Wolves and Reading are interested.

This is much more realistic than Oliveira IMO

Wolves will be setting their sights a bit higher I think, linked with Rhodes today

I agree Hugill is more realistic given our old club profile. But 3 months ago, we confirmed new owners who are defiantly not from the old Reading profile. Do any of us know how much our Chinese owners have handed Ron Gourlay, Brian Teverden and Jaap Stam as a war chest?

I have a feeling it will be more than adequate at this level.

No outgoings to finance incomings, 7 decent players signed and we’re still after 3 more, does make me wonder?

Mr Kempson won't like that. Far too explicit.

Save you clicking on the link:

A Preston statement read: "Preston North End can confirm that Jordan Hugill has today handed in a written transfer request.

"The club have rejected this request and will not be selling him in this transfer window."

Interesting one this. Doesnt often end well when a player slaps in a transfer request
