It's an unusual situation to be in. If it does happen and it was agreed last night then my source was spot on. Someone did say on here that Oliveira representatives were at the club last night. That said it doesn't mean it was signed and the contract offered could have been rejected which in turn would have allowed Norwich to bump up the price a bit

You don't have a source. Fuck off.

We will see if he was right until 11pm we cannot assume anything

Assuming you're full of shit is always a pretty safe bet.

I think it was actually agreed before he was born ... but it's all been kept quiet.

Considering we made a bid today for Tomer Hemed I thinks it unlikely we have already sealed the signing of Oliveira.....What makes me certain he hasn't already signed is the fact the club wouldn't make Jacob South Klein sit in a bush all if they knew nothing was going on.

The reaction from the Norwich fans to this rumour has been very strange. Weird bunch. Hopefully we go back in for him in January.

If you think that's weird, the one I know just asked me to play right back for them.

Very odd bunch. I remember when they beat Man Utd a few years back, the camera panned into the crowd to see them celebrating and it was actually like a scene from The Hills Have Eyes.

Edit, there are some shots of it in this video https://youtu.be/B0GVcezD3hs

The way they are celebrating keeping NO like a moral victory is just laughable, particularly given they got turned over by Millwall 4-0 last week.

Admittedly the MadStad crowd can contain quite an odd bunch at times ....

Probably the stench alone knocked him clean out from those dirty bastards.

Yes please.

He's not been great this season for Norwich so far. Has looked disinterested when he's been playing, which isn't much. Whether that would change at a new club I don't know but on balance I wouldn't spend the money required on him.

quite strange how things turn out - sure Norwich would happily take 8m for him now if they could spend that money on a replacement

might still happen, obvs not been in favour there

Norwich fans haven't been happy with him this season. Seems he's strutting about with a bit of a sulk on; perhaps because they backtracked on his move to Reading, who knows. They seem pretty convinced he could go in January. Just thinking, Liam Moore going 'should' bring in a decent amount of money, surely around the £6m-8m mark, which would go some way to making that transfer happen if we were still interested.

be pretty annoyed if we swapped out Moore for Oliveira without receiving a lot of extra cash on top tbh

Transfers are a joke today, and this coming transfer window often see's over inflated prices. IMO Reading should stick to their guns and ask for 8 figures for Moore. We don't need to sell, and we most certainly don't want to. If we give him away for a poxy £5m then they'll be a lot of unhappy supporters (again). Norwich were asking for upwards of £9m for Oli weren't they? I still can't imagine us forking out that sort of money, but we are a different club these days - just a shame we tend to buy a a fair bit of rubbish! BTev is very hit and miss.

Dropped from Norwich squad due to lack of effort. I never saw him as the solution here and perhaps we dodged a bullet?

On the other hand, I weirdly rated Grabban... he’s been banging them in this season .

Weird how it turns out...
