Rumour - Omar Bogle

According to GetWestLondon we're interested (along with seemingly everyone else), but are set to lose out to the fake hoops.

Did well in L2 for Grimsby but found wanting with Wigan 3 in 14 games, admittedly in a struggling team. no thanks

He is the right type of striker we need though, powerful, strong, will bring others into play... I think he would do well in our system

If he goes to QPR then I would question how seriously interested we are in him.

Do you honestly believe a player of this quality will choose us over QPR? We are miles apart on saturday’s showing.

Yep, you're right mate - totally forgot the new pecking order. I trust he will be very happy in Shepherds Bush.

I don't think we will be after him

We need one really decent striker at the top of our budget, and I think the management think the same.

Bogle would just join the ranks of Mendes, JDB, Yann, McCleary, Smith etc. Can't see him getting much game time at all once Yann and McCleary are back

I've seen his price being quoted in the region of £800,000. He's big, strong and quick, I could see him working as an impact sub, like Le Fondre or Manset.

They beat us at the MadStad and we drew at Loftus Road yet we finished 15 places higher than them, they beat us on Saturday, pretty comfortably but it doesn't make them better.

Believe he would be an excellent addition.

Goals to games ratio unfair as quoted on here as he got injured then played as sub for awhile at the back end of the season.

Bogle scores goals.

I hope I am wrong but it is starting to feel like the days when we were supposedly bidding for, but failing, regarding the likes of O'Neill, Matty Taylor, Lecott and Cahill.
Lately we have read about:-
Bogle
Oliveira
Wells
Hemed
Hughill
Russell
Aluko
Baker
Yiadom

I am pleased that we got Barrow, underwhelmed about the Icelander and neutral about Mannone.
Hopefully within the next 3 weeks we will see more arrivals and less players on the injury list-signings will show the intent of our owners.
