Al Habsi available.......?

According to the Nottingham Post. His current club appear happy to pay the vast majority of his wages too. Worth a punt perhaps?

No. Mannone is much more comfortable the way we play.

I would say that goalkeeping is about the only playing problem Reading haven't got.

I agree. Also Mannone is far better suited to the style that we play. Most managers now want goalkeepers who are true footballers i.e. they are very comfortable with the ball at their feet and, great shot-stopper and character that AAH is, he certainly isn't that.

Better than Mannone, (who is fine) but no point for half a season.

Mannone is an upgrade on AAH, as much as I loved him and he certainly saved us a lot of points. But as previously said GK is not a position we need to strengthen.

Nah. I love Ali to bits, but it would kill Mannone's confidence to bring in the bloke he replaced. And Mannone is more than good enough for us.

Barring the Burton winner, Mannone has been excellent all season and is more than adequate for us. Crazy to suggest Al-Habsi should return.
