RUMOUR: Jose Artiles

by Reading4eva » 19 Jan 2018 11:04

Left midfielder we are meant to be eyeing up. Plays for Las Palmas but has been on loan.

Cheap option but he's not the striker we need

I'll be the first to say it: Would rather have Ossie Ardiles....

You can never, ever have enough left midfielders.

Indeed, and a big yes please. We desperately need a winger.

Don’t we.

Q) Who is Jose Artiles?

<sees reading4eva has started rumour>

A) No-one to concern yourself with.

If it meant getting rid of Roy Beerens then I would take any winger under the sun

Can he play Right Back? Doesn't matter ... that's where he's likely to play.

If he can also play left back, I can understand that we could sign him to cover that position. Perhaps Beerens is on the move, as he has not signed an extension to his contract like Van der Berg, and will be out of contract this June.

Perhaps...

Or perhaps this is a load of bollocks as there's no source

Fair comment.

If Beerens had a heart transplant and brain surgery he could be a really good player.

Beerens over Popa is surely one of life`s huge mystery`s that only a certain Dutchman understands.

Paul Brooker?

I've just said no.

And yes, I'd take Michael Meaker today as he is now before you ask.
