LWJ Surely needs to prove himself again / get back to full fitness with regular game time.
Would a move to the Championship for a season be out the question?

LWJ If they can't get the right price loaning him out to get him in the shop window wouldn't be out the question.

Zip There is no reason why an ambitious Championship side wouldn't try and sign Ings. He had one moderately successful season with Burnley in the PL where his stats were very similar to ALF’s when we were in the PL. He then failed at Liverpool.
He is 26 in July so a similar age to ALF when we sold him to another Championship club in Cardiff City.

I can think of 60000 reasons a 26 year old, medium profile striker with 2 years left on his contract wouldn't drop a division.

If another club is daft enough to pay him that much then so be it but he isn’t worth those kind of wages.
