Rumour - Mbaye Diagne

Striker, don’t know anything about him but got this from his wiki.

“Mbaye Diagne was a Senegalese military officer and a United Nations military observer during the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. He is credited with saving many lives during his time in Rwanda through nearly continuous rescue missions at great peril to himself”

Rare to get a player with of this sort of calibre and think he will be a big character in the dressing room.

That is an impressive background and exactly the type of person we need to bring in.

Has a more than decent goal scoring record in a lot of really poor leagues but has shown enough in the past for Juventus to sign him.

We don't often take these sort of punts and they don't really tend to work out but if he's available for £200,000-300,000, may be worth a punt.

I’d be a bit miffed if him and McNulty constitute Clement’s “two strikers of real quality”.

Sort of like a modern day Vincent de Paul Pericard in many ways?

I'd take Lynsey de Paul over some of the shit we've signed in the past.

Yeah sort of like Vincent Pericard except he's scored some goals and doesn't wear an electronic tag.

I'd laugh at this comment if Bournemouth sign him and he's sold to Liverpool in 12 months for £60million.

Cool. I won’t care as I won’t have wasted 12 months remembering a throw away line on an Internet forum, but you do you buddy.

Just funny how you write someone off without knowing anything about him.
