RUMOUR: Herita Ilunga

by John Smith » 24 Sep 2018 17:15

Well I suppose it was only a matter of time before we saw the 'Nani-effect'. Known from orchestrating his signing for West Ham, we are heavily linked with former Premier League starlet Herita Ilunga. A wealth of talent and experience at the highest level, it looks like he'll be brought in to provide competition at wing back, although I imagine he'd probably start as soon as he's fit.

Anyone got any thoughts on this one? Can only be a good thing I guess?

Presuming he's an unattached free agent?

36 year old who hasn’t played for 2 years. Bet Yiadom is quaking in his boots at the thought of that sort of ‘competition’ !

Yeah no thanks to this. We should have Obita back after the next international break although it may take him a few weeks to kick on.

He's retired even the guy's twitter bio states that. Seems to be working in football admin now, so the only way he is joining the club is in a back office role.
