SPECULATION: Wes Foderingham

by John Smith » 26 Oct 2018 17:26

Prior to Al Habsi's arrival we were linked with Foderingham when out of contract at Swindon. Now well down the pecking order at Rangers and with our goalkeeping situation seemingly undecided, could he be the answer, possibly on a loan deal? Hammersmith boy so would be a lot closer to home...

Another player with an "arrogant" attitude. Di Canio dropped him I recall.

Much like Lawrence Vigouroux the current no 1. Lots of promise but let's himself down too frequently with his off pitch antics.

All of our keepers are terrible and this guy isn't much better.

We have somehow managed to stockpile 3 very poor keepers when ward is probably better than them.

If we combined the 3 of them somehow we would have 1 great keeper.

I'm all for signing a new keeper but can we at least speculate about ones that are better than what we already have rather than ones who were ok in League 2 but have been inconsisant at a level similar to the championship.

I'm happy seeing how Jaakkola and Walker develop personally.
