Seems a daft area to target given we have three senior keepers and an academy good at producing keepers.

Doesn't matter how good your keeper is if the rest of your team is bobbins.

Can't agree with that. A good reliable keeper, especially one who dominates the box,
can instils more confidence in the defenders, and confidence begets confidence.

Can't agree with that. A good reliable keeper, especially one who dominates the box,
can instils more confidence in the defenders, and confidence begets confidence.

I don't think David De Gea could instil confidence in this bunch of losers.

to play the system Jose wants, he needs a keeper who is good with the ball at his feet I suspect

Anssi isnt a bad keeper in the traditional sense, but he is awful distribution and passing wise. I can't see him lasting long

Dont dislike Ansi - but he cant kick, and doesnt command the box / flaps a lot..

The other two arent any better

So its a no brainer for me...new keeper is a must, regardless of what league we may end up in..
