No way John, Sa was excellent. He had a fire in his belly that no striker has had since for us. He was aggressive and always caused oppostion defenders problems, was mortified when we sold him.

Sa scored in 3 matches out of 19.

No he scored 5 in 19 for us. It isn't just about his goals, he caused no end of issues for oppostion defences. You clearly can't have seen him play.

But he only actually scored in 3 matches.

I mean. He's technically correct though. He did only score in 3 games.

I am with OMA on this, I thought Sa was a good player that eventually would've come good and scored regularly - I thought he would've worked very nicely in Stam's system to pull defenders around and create space. It's a shame he left.

I couldn't bring myself to objectify men in that way.

It wasn't just about goals with him, he was a bully and a bastard. We haven't had a player with his out and out aggression since. I think Oliveira can provide it if he comes.

Am I right in remembering that Sa scored a hattrick? He was great, as was said, he had fire in his belly but also the skill to go with it

You’re literally just making things up now. He was mostly toilet, spent most of his time here “waiting to get going”, scored in 3 games, looked like being decent, then got sent off and then fcuked off. Why so many Reading fans look back on him here fondly is completely baffling, such a non entity of a signing it’s amazing.

Agree absolutely; for some reason McDermott didn't rate him, may have been him being difficult to handle...McD never got to grips with those type of players.

One that got away for me. Thought we had a proper player on our hands.

He was absolutely sh!t. And probably on a king's ransom too

Also, this can now dispel the myth for anyone who thinks Old Man Andrews and I are the same person
