It's going to be weird not being on here, once we no longer have a club, after about 25 years.

I have some friends over at North Stand Chat if we need somewhere to hang out.

The tone felt fire sale

Would be a massive concern if we sold someone like Smith just to pay the bills.

Let's be honest, If Smith, Knibbs and Abbey go, we'll struggle to win another game.

The SWBD whistleblower said players would be sold if valuations met, that's basically the case at every club in the EFL.

The Athletic just looked up our best players and made a story out of it, they're not exactly the best out there for accuracy...

Charlie Savage now deleted reply to a Wrexham fan who asked if stories linking him to Wrexham are true.

I honestly don't think he meant it the way it sounded. Just a polite way of saying no.
Coming to the pub?
Unfortunately not.

I think it's correct that if a valuation is met for any player, they will likely go. That's the case for every club outside the so-called 'Big Six'TM.

The issue we have is that we're clearly not keeping up with the day-to-day running costs, so will be likely to accept any bid for any player and it could end up being a fire sale. Which would kill us, obviously.

I think Dai needs to realise if we're competitive, he's more likely to recoup more money in a sale. That requires putting more in now, to ensure we can stay competitive. Shouldn't be too arduous for a billionaire, even one that doesn't care. (If he even is a billionaire, of course)

Eventually the imbecile will go and eventually the club will have new owners and then we can get back to hiring a manager and building a team that goes places. Any player who goes through all of it will be all the stronger but as things stand no player in their right mind is going to be happy at the club and want to stay somewhere where every thing they do is totally undermined by the off field cr@p.

In January, these players should be worth more to us than any potential buyer. That's why it's a tough window. We also saw with the likes of Zaha at Palace and JWP at Southampton that they were so important to their clubs that nobody could meet the price. If you're a team aiming to stay up, an offer for the player basically needs to be worth more than survival. Who is going to pay that for Smith?

But of course we're not in normal circumstances. If we accept a sub par offer for Smith to help meet running costs and get relegated to L2, the club is worth less and Dai has made a fcuking stupid decision. But he's made so many fcuking stupid decisions that nothing can be ruled out. Bindon or Vickers could make more sense as fringe players.

I was just told by a good source that we were in discussion for the sale of three of our defenders yesterday and that two of them have now been agreed.

No one is giving us money for Mola and NGW.

Who would want a Reading defender as clean sheets haven't been a speciality of ours for years

Hendo Well if two of them have been agreed, it won't be long before we find out.

There are so many leaks from the club. We'd hear more substantiated rumours imo.

Tend to agree - think it would've come out before now.

Abbey and Bindon certainly have high potential and can imagine they'd be attracting interest to be part of a more cohesive defensive unit.

Now that'd be right up there with the very best of Hammond...
