Coppelled Streets Derby apparently very keen on Johnson.

MLS wanted too much money so Derby is looking elsewhere.

actually it's being reported that Derby and MLS agreed on a deal but Eddie nipped it..
Says he wants to finish out the year and see what options he has during the winter window..
This year he has 10 goals from 10 games..

He did, and he recently scored two more, so he is at 12 goals in 11 games. Johnson has loads of potential, but I don't like his work rate on the pitch.

well he's said no to Derby so maybe we could monitor him and look to bring him in at a later date providing he keeps scoring!!

Time to dust this one off the shelf again...

The Sun says we are after him along with Derby for £2m.

Cheap but is he what we need?

Probably an agent inspired rumour.

He's what we need if Doyle is full time on the right, which seems a bit of a waste. OTOH, haven't heard of him texting sex vids around the US, but that may simply be because he hasn't any friends...

Reports in the U.S once again linking Johnson with a move to Reading, his contract expires in 2 days time so he is available on a free transfer.

To me this signing would make sense if Lita is on his way out. Fairly similar styles, not room for them both in the squad.

What about his work rate off the pitch. I need some tiling done in my bathroom.

Good idea - our attack is a problem that needs addressing at the moment!

I propose that we play without a defence in all future away games. If we're going to score four and still lose, we may as well give up on keeping the goals out and instead focus on reaching double-figures on a regular basis. We might lose, but that's hardly changing anything, is it? Bring in eight more strikers over the January period, I say.
