It's reported Fulham want him for Â£3m.

In our situation I think he would be an ideal player to sign now. He can play CB and CM, he's strong, quick, gets his foot in, scores goals and more importantly he's ready for the Premiership immediately.

Every time I've seen Wigan play he's looked decent, perhaps we should make a bid.

I thought that, but that's a big price tag. Saying that, at 27, he's supposed to be at his prime.

Just because Fulham want him doesn't mean he's actually available.

But yes if so, I wouldn't be unhappy to see him here.

They probably don't, but it could be one of those "every player has his price" scenarios or a simple figment of someone's imagination.

I think if this player is available and went to Fulham, I'd be disappointed that we weren't interested. I just think he ticks the box of 2 positions we need to strengthen, so would be ideal.

Â£3m is a steal.

Could play centre half until Sonko's back then push up into central midfield.

Scharner/Harper and a quality box to box play would be a great set of centre mids to chose from.

A good shout Scarface if he is available.
Seeing Laursen on Saturday reminded me of how good defenders organise others around them unlike what we see at RFC where none of our defenders take responsibility.
He looks a good all-round player to me and worth at least Â£3million when you look at us paying Â£2.5 million for the likes of Halford and Fae and turn down Â£4.5 million for Hunt.
