WHO'S IMPROVED

by IMAMATEOFJOVSKY » 09 Feb 2008 15:55

Supposedly players continually improve when they get into the premiership- looking at the Reading players from last season to this, how may have actually improved??

Hahnemann - NO
Murty - NO
Ingi - NO
Sonko - NO but out injured for part
Shorey - Maybe
Harper - NO
Convey - NO
Hunt - Yes
Gunnarsson -NO
Doyle - NO
Kitson - Yes

Maybe its about the coaching as well

I can't believe you don't think Doyle has improved as a player.

Hahnemann - Same reliable keeper, and same shocking kicking.
Murty - Improved last season, below par this season.
Ingi - Improved last season, below par this season.
Sonko - Improved last season, below par this season.
Shorey - Improved last season, below par this season.
Harper - Improved last season, much more of an attacking threat this season.
Convey - Still to be judged but at the moment, no.
Hunt - God yes!
Gunnarsson - No, but a good choice off the bench.
Doyle - Yes.
Kitson - Yes.

Are you sure this one isn't just a little bit, you know, simple?

I know he didnt really play much last season but Cisse has looked so much more comfortable at the back than whenever he played in midfield last season..

But not a patch on Bodin, who I have to say has been superb since signing from Swindon.

But the thread is comparing last season to this. Are you really saying Doyle is playing better this season than last ???

Yes...its the supply to him that is GOD AWFUL and thus the reason why we
havent seen the goals of yesteryear...acknowledging this, you will see that Doyle as much a striker can.

By what measure is Doyle playing better this season than last please ? Even taking goals scored out of it (which is directly related to supply for players like him I guess) I can't think of any.
