Richi Royal I could see him coming in and playing a similar role to Gunnar 3 years ago. He is a good championship player with a bit of pedigree, wont cost the world and could fill in when one of the first choice CM's get injured or suspended.

What Pedigree, Chum??

Shall I get my coat?

Perhaps if he becomes a Reading Legend the North or South Stand can be renamed......Would be quite apt.

Citeh's stadium beat us to the punch, maybe until then when he scores we could have 'Ring my Bell' by Anita ward as goal music.

Streets Can you feel the ambition? I can't either.

Doesn't it make you want to get off your arse and throw your money at the club? No it doesn't

Would a big signing encourage you? Dam right it would.

Come on then Jay tell us which player you would pay good money for? Seems we are selling for loads, but are then expected to replace Prem players for the same money.

Indeed.

The complaints will be that we've sold our best assets on the cheap but have spent too much on mediocre players. The Club can never win.

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe Looked average a best on loan in a poor Leicester side.

You don't sell someone for £3.5m and take a massive gamble on someone like him.

And yes I know we signed Hunt, but that was a long time ok and we've signed plenty who never had a chance cause they were never good enough. Sodje, Kebe, etc....

I think you'll be surprised by Kebe in the Championship,I thought he had started to settle a little more and had some good touches in his appearances in the Prem and maybe the Championship will settle him down. I reckon a hidden gem for the season

Thanks to Angus Young and co....

I'm rolling thunder and pouring rain
I'm coming on like a hurricane
My lightnings flashing across the sky
You're only young but you're gonna die
I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
Nobody's putting up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get you, Satan get you

Hell's Bells
Yeah, Hell's Bells
You got me ringing Hell's Bells
My temperature's high, Hell's Bells

I'll give you black sensations up and down your spine
If you're into evil you're a friend of mine
See my white light flashing as I split the night
'Cause if good's on the left,
Then I'm stickin' to the right

I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
Nobody's puttin' up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get you, Satan get you
Hell's Bells
Yeah, Hell's Bells
You got me ringing Hell's Bells
My temperature's high, Hell's Bells
Hell's Bells, Satan's comin' to you
Hell's Bells, he's ringing them now
Hell's Bells, the temperature's high
Hell's Bells, across the sky
Hell's Bells, they're takin' you down
Hell's Bells, they're draggin' you around
Hell's Bells, gonna split the night
Hell's Bells, there's no way to fight, yeah

Only Kebe can prove who's right.

We'll see.

What I don't get about Kebe and never will.

How was a French lower league left winger, ever going to keep us up?

wenger has bought from lower french league before and found gems
and i think copps thought at the price he was worth a go regardless seeing as all other options were failing

But we needed so much more.

I know he was cheep but Coppell ain't Wenger when it comes to signing players from abroad. You'd have though they'd learnt the lesson with Fae.

And he was playing on the left. If they couldn't find one right winger, better than Kebe, what do scouts watch all year??

It drives me mad thinking how easily avoidable getting relegated was.....

I agree. It's as if somebody forget to tell our scouting network that we'd got promoted. And don't forget there seemed to be quite a few players who were spotted by the scouts and came over for trials, and were sent back for not being good enough. You can't really knock Coppell (although some no doubt will anyway) for not signing players if the players he was offered aren't good enough. I'm sure if he'd been offered good players who would have come in and made a difference, he would not have turned them down.

To be honest, nobody here knows enough about David Bell to say whether he'd be any good or not. you can't write a player off because you haven't heard of him. How many of our current squad (or even the promoted squad) had people head of before they signed for us?
