Speculation - Jack Wilshere

by kwik-silva » 30 Jul 2008 20:55

Now... this is a real long shot :P But theres an Arsenal yougster called Jack Wilshere, and according to a couple of people he's a pretty good player. He plays in the midfield (anywhere) and I was thinking... If not a transfer, maybe a loan?

Has anyone heard of him out of interest

Scored a wonder goal for the reserves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITVSdAzBjXY (second one)

Has scored 3 goals already this pre season, i saw he scored a cracking finish past Lehmann against Stuttgart last night aswell. Has been doing well this pre season anyway and is a right winger... i was thinking last night whether he could be a sneaky possibility

Isn't this lad only 16? He looks a small 16 too.

Not the kind of addition we need for our midfield who are lightweight already and we have two untried and untested wingers, we don't need a third.

There is a huge difference between a few nice friendlies and the hustle and bustle of a competitve league campaign.

Cracking player, but he'd get rolled over if he played first team football now. Same for Henri Lansbury, also of Arsenal.
