Nicky Forster

Story breaking down here is that he has asked for a transfer - I think he is out of contract at end of season anyway.

I have seen BHA a couple of times this season and he has been their best player by a mile.

Should we get him on loan? I reckon he could be a good impact sub - still got the pace.

I don't know. Huge fan of Fozzy's but could he still do it in the Championship? He was never a prolific scorer at that level in his pomp...my Wet Sham mate used to refer to him as Nicky Fourgoals

Just shows what a crap league that is when a 36 year old can still bang them in. Shows how overated Beckford is playing for the best team in the division only scored a few more than Fozzie.

Same age a Kevin Phillips, premiership must be a shite league too then.

I'd argue that Fozzie was the best striker we've had for playing the loan striker role. So if we wanted someone for that job, he might be worth a punt, not convinced though.

He was so good in that role because of his pace - the very pace that surely must be going as he ages...

We've never really used loan strikers though. Kitson and Thorvaldsson being the only two that spring to mind.

Fozzie was probably one of my favourite Reading players ever. His performance against Wigan in the play-offs was just unbelievable, the impact he had!

Cracking performance, gettn him MOTM even though he was only on the pitch for 9 mins!! Laugh of the night was when the twat Bruce said Forster dived for the penalty. Oh sure you northern oxf*rd - when you were playing taking someone out from behind at the knees was never a foul was it?!?!? HATED the northern whinging pcunt ever since that comment.

It won't matter as much what our other players' ball control is like because he'd never pass to anyone anyway.
