Half Horse I'm having trouble coming to terms with the criticism on this board and in our stadium of our team and its achievements.
Half way through the season we're just above mid table with 26 points - another 14 points will almost certainly see us playing in this league again next season.
What do people expect? At the start of the season would any one of us have been unhapppy with finishing 17th? No, of course not, so why whinge when we get beaten by proven Premiership sides (who have spent plenty of dosh) like Blackburn and Everton.
Why get after Seol when he's playing out of position against top class defenders?
Why moan about Hunt who, for all his short-comings, gives 100% each game?
Lita is 21 years old and we expect him to perform like a seasoned premier player - give him a couple of years and he might but if we undermine his confidence he won't.
Shorey and Murty haven't been at their best in the last couple of games but will they respond to our boos or our encouragement? I know what I would respond to.
Sonko and Ingermarrson didn't have their best games yesterday but they, along with Marcus, have been the rocks on which our success has been built.
Some of you, like me, may have been at Elm Park to see the likes of Southport, Workington and Barrow and enjoyed one of our greatest nights when beating WBA in the league cup. Yes, that's same WBA who are 7th in the Championship while we are 9th in the Premiership.
This is the greatest era in the history of RFC and a time to be enjoyed. For me survival is everything and talk of Europe is simply nonsense.
This is our time but don't expect too much.

zac naloen Oh bloody hell.
When will people understand.
The team are doing well, everyone knows this.
But should this save anyone from criticism when they oxf*rd it up?
If Stephen Hawkins was to write a thesis that turned out to be utter balls do you expect people to roll over and accept it because so far he's been reliable?
No, you would expect people to say "... Hang on a minute.. You're better than this!"
How people express this is entirely down to them, but everyone is allowed their own opinions right or wrong.

Maybe because some feel his shortcomings outweigh his giving 100%?Half Horse Why moan about Hunt who, for all his short-comings, gives 100% each game?

Sharpy i just think a combination of "thinking we are there already" and low confidence could be our downfall

1960 Only a foolish romantic could see us get any points from Chelsea and Man Utd.
