Villa away

by hughsies no.1 » 06 Mar 2017 15:07

Just looking at trains to Villa on Saturday 15th April - noticed they are dirt cheap £11 return from Marylebone (handy for me living in LDN).

Given it is Easter weekend, anyone know why we are the only Championship game on the Saturday? Rest of the fixtures are on the Friday and again on Easter Monday.

Likely this one will be moved or not?

Thanks for this!

I've taken the gamble and booked up. Only £11 loss if so

Also weren't people saying that Villa were reciprocating our twenty's plenty offer? If so it's a relatively cheap day out in Birmingham if you get you train tickets well in advance

Aston Villa reciprocating the £20 away tickets, although only to season-ticket holders and not members (unlike RFC who offer to members as well). On general sale from tomorrow.

Ticket on sale for this now. Where's everyone sitting (or standing)? Looks like the front rows of the lower tier are available and they've just released the upper rows of the top tier.

Can't seem to get the tickets tab - you're not telling me this has sold out, surely?

From the OS:

Supporters who prefer to be in a more ‘family-friendly’ environment or may need to be seated for the duration of the match due to walking difficulties should select 'lower rows' when buying online, or ask for these when booking by phone or in person.

Block Q is all lower tier. This suggests you should choose the upper rows if you want to stand or be less 'family-friendly'.

We should be looking to take at least 2K to this.

£20 a ticket, 4th in the league, an hour and a half away and it's a ground we don't get to go to that often. We will take the typical shitty sub 1K to this though like we always do.
