38 career goals in 212 games and Wolves fans seem genuinely meh on him.

Can't say i'm excited by this.

Slightly better version of Simon Church. But I do like him and let's face it, any opportunity to bring some more Icelanders here is good.

Interesting as Ipswich seem to think they might get him:

Looked like a hard worker with little end product but he is Icelandic....

Having said that. What we need up front is someone capable of holding the ball up, winning headers, getting in behind and creating opportunities.

He can do all that and if he was prolific as well he'd be at Manchester City.

Our goals in this system tend to come from all over the pitch. so Fe he may suit us nicely.

Sounds like his spell with Wolves was like Kermorgant with us last season, lot of similar attributes and a good attitude. Stam should like him, with a decent manager maybe he can step up.

Wouldn't be disappointed if it's true.

Genuinely disappointed by this after the Nelson Oliveria link. Have seen a bit of him for Wolves and he clearly works hard but can't see him bringing the goals that we need.

Strange signing and was dump at wolves.

Maybe he is looking at depth with the main forward signing yet to come.

See, it shows you are capable of offering some insight into stuff!

I would tend to agree, thoroughly underwhelming but I can't forsee him being Stam's ideal no.1.

From darlow and olivera to button and dadi. Reality check. These seem a bit desperate to just make sure we are getting bodies in. Would have rather stuck with Samuel.

I thought the Wolves fans were surprisingly positive about him considering his goal scoring record there

Think he'll be a useful signing, but hopefully there is another striker coming in as first choice

Think people need to remember how woefully short in numbers we are up top atm. We may well still be in the market for a really 'top' striker', but we also need to add some depth and this guy sounds like he has all the attributes to be an excellent squad player.

Wolves fans are also, mostly, very positive about him - which goes against any idea of him being 'dump'. From the, admittedly, little I've seen of him he's big, quick, with a decent amount of technical ability too so will definitely give us something different.

I think people have got themselves a little bit giddy with all this talk of Darlow and Oliveira. We need to bring in 5-6 new players this window and they can't all cost millions.
