Good news for anyone going to the game; unlike the rest of the Third World, you don't need jabs to travel to Yorkshire.

Sitting on a bus for several hours, with a bunch of Leeds fans, coming back from a game where I fully expect us to lose.
That will be a fun trip!
Mind you, winning could be even worse.

Did this happen? :?

mot Anyway, what do you think of your chances over two legs against us with the first leg at Elland Road infront of a 38k partisan crowd.

From Despair To Where? Good news for anyone going to the game; unlike the rest of the Third World, you don't need jabs to travel to Yorkshire.

You were always quite inexplicably complementary of Bradford IIRC.

Not complementary, just realistic and not believing in the tabloid bullshit, as pedalled by certain people on here, that ran contrary to what I experienced for myself in 11 years of living there. I would contest that any area of Bradford is a no go area, I would contest that Bradford has problems any worse than any other big city but I would never suggest that the majority of people I got to know were anything other than insular, arrogant and ignorant. There are many things of which Bradford can be rightly proud, the attitudes of a lot of its residents isn't one of them.

So is it a shithole or not? And what were you getting at with the third world comment?

It's like any place, it has nice areas and shit areas, however, the attitudes of many of its residents are somewhat "underdeveloped". Certainly, many of the residents of the estate I lived on would be happy living in mud huts and slinging shit at each other as long as they could get their fair share if Stella and beat up the wife without the police getting involved.

It's not the physical place that's a shithole, it's the space between the ears of the people and Leeds is no different. It's not even the whole of Yorkshire, it's just the Leeds/Bradford conurbation really, populated by twats of the highest order.

Third World was probably unfair, I'm sure downtown Khartoum is lovely in comparison.

I lived in Leeds and it's one of the best cities in the UK. York is a great city, Harrogate is a great city. Yorkshire is probably the best county in the UK and I would much prefer to live there than overpriced, overpopulated and overrated London.

Not really, wouldnt surprise me if its a 0-0 bore draw, something about these two clubs. We manage to bore each other to death.

I,m sure it will be fun both ways. We took Ipswich fans the other week when their coach broke down.
