FA Cup 3rd Round

by royalp-we » 03 Dec 2017 21:40

Surprised there's no thread already, considering we have had a relatively good recent history in the greatest cup competition on the planet.

64 balls will be drawn tomorrow ahead of the third round ties at the start of the new year, as the Premier League & Championship sides enter the competition.

1Bournemouth
2Arsenal
3Aston Villa
4Barnsley
5Birmingham City
6Bolton
7Brentford
8Brighton
9Bristol City

Wouldnt mind a trip to Wimbledon again. Would like for Slough / Woking to make it through, too. Praying we don't have to play Hull away twice in the space of a week...

What's everyone's picks :?:

Numbers 38 or 43 would be my pick. At home as well.

That's a really uninspiring list of lower and non league qualifiers IMO.

I actually reckon we will get a home tie against a lower league side

I predict Bradford or MK Dons

Away to a team we are already scheduled to play twice this year in the championship, additionally either with a 5 hour plus round journey or a team we have already played in the League cup (ie Millwall), please.

After a quite miserable 2nd round with barely any shocks whatsoever there are only 4 non-league sides left. Three are in replays and Slough play tonight. Could see a 3rd Round with no non-league clubs

Personally hope Reading get the winners of Slough or Rochdale although Carlisle might be fun tie to get if they can beat Gillingham

But whatever happens just DO NOT want a PL or another Championship club. So Newcastle or Wolves away it'll be then

Always wanted to go to Hereford. Port Vale, Yeovil and Shrewsbury would also be lovely

I always want Tottenham away (or home, tbf) every year - due to family connections

Got a feeling it will be a top 10 championship club away.
