BFT Appalling mess at home

by Sutekh » 03 Feb 2018 17:36

So instead of starting a new BFTG thread after every home game thought I’d start a standard one to suit all

Another home game, another Saturday and yet snother disgusting joke of a performance

The Dutch masterplan is now in full effect and the team is getting even better at cluelessness

Today, after a game on the front foot at Burton, it seemed back to the standard poncing about whenever possible but with a slight difference of more long kicks from Mannone

Feel sorry for Barrow who was the only player who looked the part but what’s the point in being terrific at one end of the pitch if noone’s with him at that end of the pitch cos they’re all too busy sitting deep and trying to be safe

Also feel sorry for Tyler who is so obviously a young confidence player but after dropping another clanger was first yelled at by that paragon of a good footballer van den Berg and then booed by a section of utter dumplings in the home stands. He has been mismanaged by Jaap and needs some time out to recharge under a different manager

And that’s the other stupidity of it all. The Dutch gentleman should have been savked after the home game eith Burton but instead we’re now looking a dead cert for relegation (after all can you see any points coming to Readingfrom ‘boro, forest, derby, sheffield u and wolves). A change should be made now so at least some lift can be given to the fans with a change

The whole season reminds me of the Bullivant fiasco when the club had 34 points or do at the beginning of Feb but then managed to plumb the very depths of ineptitude to retrieve just 8 more points by the end of the season.

Finally, how many shots did Reading have, let alone on target

It’s all PATHETIC and he has to go now

I vote for a boycotting the Derby game, anyone agree?

PS - more than likely though I’ll be there and supporting them just thinking today’s the day it all changes

I think that is the first time I have ever heard our fans boo one of our own players.

Disgraceful and embarrassing.

WB

Whilst I totally agree, that's the depths that Cretin Stam has dragged this club

I didn’t go today but booing an individual player is disgraceful. Blackett’s confidence must be shot.

To be fair he was probably Millwall's most creative player.

Blackett was an absolute liability today. Illori also looks weak. With Elphick and McShane crocked ...

Blackett's confidence has been obviously shot for the last three months, yet Stam keeps bringing him back in for one game and then dropping him again when it's a shambles. That can't help anyone.

Barrow is the only player who can hold his head up after that.

Everyone else can fuck off, including the fans who booed Blackett. Not really sure what else to say.

Tired of opposition fans coming here and having a great time

What I do know is that our first shot of the game didn't come until the 59th minute. I'd actually started to wonder if we could go the whole game without a shot.

I am so, so angry. The team I have supported all of my life have officially died.

For the very first time I must agree with you. Compared with the masses, I’m oxf*rd odd!

Blackett should be grateful he wasn't booed during his first 52 league appearances for Reading, 95% of his performances have been utter shit.

As for Stam not showing faith in him: imagine how Jake Cooper, Rob Dickie, Dom Hyam, Niall Keown etc feel.

Blackett brings it all on himself. Too many individual errors, lapses of concentration on a frequent basis. Has the attributes to be a good footballer. Lacks the application. Probably has a head turned by money. Seems to lack a desire to win. Will be gone in the summer whatever the outcome of this season. Needs to play in league 2 on a regular basis.

Stam didn't like Jake. Guess lacked the technical skills. Shows Stam's immaturity as a manager.
