6ft Kerplunk No great loss to punditry tbh, his co-commentary in particular is woeful.

I agree with SFers that people really need to stop being pcunts just because they've spotted someone famous but it really didn't take much to provoke Carragher. His reaction is way over the top.

I don't care, I'll be the backward-minded snob: i don't like his accent. His grammar is also terrible. oxf*rd him. Get Jermaine Jenas in instead.

'greed. Some people can be pcunts, and think just because they 'know' someone from the telly, then they can say/do what they like....and I wouldn't have an issue with famous person telling them to 'fukk off' or similar, even, perhaps, throwing a punch in a pub/club -- we've all been tempted at some point, and we are not famous, and we don't get hassle just for doing our job.... I am sure it can be hugely annoying, especially if you are having a bad day anyway.

But, spitting? Really? What sort of person responds to any sort of provocation by spitting?

TBM Should be suspended without pay for the rest of the season - then come back beginning of next once people have forgotten what he did and have moved onto a new target.

Just need to wait until Dele Alli loses his shit and gets sent off in the wc so we will lose

How many pundits does it take to say Kane has hurt his ankle and nobody knows how bad it is? Quite a few and a touchline reporter apparently. Still it filled 15mins for them at halftime yesterday.

Do you not remember the mass hysteria in the media for Beckham and Rooney's injuries? Nothing new, really.

Genome, if Harry Kane is injured for the World Cup, does Connor Wickham get on the plane instead...?

Its the inanity of it all.

"He's holding his ankle straight away so I think he's hurt his ankle"
"Yeah, looks like its his ankle"
"I think its an ankle injury"
"He's had an ankle injury before"
"Yeah, its his ankle"
Repeat for 10 minutes.

Appalling from Carragher really. The one saving grave for him is that he's said and done the right things in the aftermath.
