we've not conceded a goal since PC came to the club with 11 men on the field (210 mins). One straw to grasp

jd82 You don’t know. 11 v 11 (hopefully for 90 mins this time) anything can happen.

Although I am bringing my m8, whose current record is lost 7/7

Come on jd. I do know. And you know. And your mate knows.

Spend your money on something more constructive. Like a book.

Might as well fold the club then.

I reckon Evans and Berg will start in midfield with Swift “rested” again.

Think also Blackett may return to left back after injury.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Martin start with Bod on the bench so he’s fresher for the Sunderland game.

We can all hope that we get something out of this game.
Odds are stacked against us, however we have to cling on to the phrase - stranger things have happened. This is football and it keeps it exciting.

Fulham supporting mate of mine is a little nervous about tonight, sees us as a massive banana skin and wonders how Fulham will handle the pressure.

Tonight is a different test for Fulham, so far they have been the team chasing down 2nd spot but with absolutely no pressure on them, tonight they can go 2nd and arguably given the fixtures are probably favourites to be 2nd by 10pm . This brings with it a different pressure and with the club ratcheting up the "revenge" aspect, this could add more pressure.

Compare that to us and most fans are just going for a decent night out, have pretty much written the game off and looking to get it out of the way and focus on the next 3 games where we can guarantee safety.

Has all the elements for us to nick a "shock" result tonight but have absolutely no expectation of that happening.

I think we should save Blacketts confidence and rest him for this game. Play Richards and let him gain experience against a very good team.
I presume Obita will slot straight back in next season so having a more experienced backup in Richards will only help our long standing issues with LB cover. Blood him as much as possible in the games we have nothing to lose in.

:D Greatest suggestion ever.

Fair play to Fulham - they are making it out to be a grudge match because they know they are going to win. Fair play, they can enjoy it.

John Smith
Tilehurstsouthbank Interesting comments from a Fulham fan on TTE:

What weaknesses can the Royals look to exploit?

"Fulham struggles the most when a team packs it, concedes possession, and makes Fulham break them down. Fulham can sometime move too many men into attack and become vulnerable on the counter. If you can defend well for 90 minutes and finish your chance when you get it on a counter, you might have a chance."

That's pretty much how PC has been setting us up...

jd82 for some insane reason, I quite fancy us tonight.. had a little pop at 10.5 on Betfair..

I am a supporter of this club but I know we won't win the game tonight. Both dreamers.

Thanks for that rebuke Mr Glass half empty.

I'm here in London. As are plenty of others from Reading. The general feeling is absolute HATRED for Fulham. Disgusting club. Even a point would just wipe the smile of their upper class faces.

Reading fans giving him stick about his broken leg. Which is fair enough, just don't rise to it...

Reading fans care about Piazon? I haven't thought about him since he left.. Didn't know he broke his leg. Poor guy.

I suppose as every other club in the London/greater London area sees them as totally irrelevant, they need to try and create a new rivalry with someone...

Used to go and watch them a fair bit when I lived locally (around the time they got to the UEFA cup final)

The fans are least threatening bunch I've ever come across. 50% of them were suits who just fancied watching a game of footy. They even have a neutral area FFS - never heard of that anywhere else in the country. They make us look like Millwall.

I don't really mind them, and tbf they are a good side at the moment. Id rather they stay down as they are about as close to a rival as we have at the moment, and its a bit of interest when we play them

We are coming into this with very little pressure or expectation, but i think that is when we have played our best this season.
My god, neutral area for passive football fans, how dull is that for a professional club. As i have said, they are a very good playing side that clearly deserve the league position they are in.

Hope Reading can manage a shot on target tonight as the club have a 100% win record under Paul Clement whenever that happens.

Same starting 11 as Saturday apart from 2 changes in the midfield, Edwards Bacuna Kelly.
