Hendo Just read that he apparently gets a £6m pay off  which equates to £9m for 6 months work....

Extrapolate that to a year, and divide that into 52 to get a weekly payment

Allardyce was essentially on £346,000 a week :P

Old Man Andrews Allardyce stopped them from being relegated and they are the 8th best team in the country currently. Who is to say that he wouldn't have brought in flair players this summer to help improve the style of play?

Errr, anyone who's heard of him?

Moyes gone too.

So that's Pardew, Allardyce and Moyes back on the managerial roundabout. Wonder where they will end up next?

Find it hard to see Pardew getting a top level job in England again. Reckon we will see him manage on foreign shores sometime soon.

To be fair to him Allardyce had quite attractive and effective sides during his time with both Bolton and West Ham. West Ham ditched him because they wanted more, but the team he left for Bilic was half decent to watch.

In terms of Everton, he did the job the board wanted of him. He saved them from going down (although I think they were in 13th by the time he took over so it could be said they didn't really need him) and he got a nice big payoff after initially refusing to work for them on the 6 month contract they offered him at the time. They wanted Silva all along of course, so it looks like an expensive way of getting him and they've effectively paid Allardyce the compensation they might've otherwise paid to Watford.

reckon Pardew thinks he is a bit big time for that. If he doesn't chase the money or Qatar or China then I can see him trying to manage in MLS.

I wouldn't be massively surprised to see him turn up at a smallish club in France or Spain tbh

Carvahal leaves Swansea

Double d v2

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Managerial Merry-go-round currently has

Allardyce
Pardew
Carvahal
Moyes
Holloway

So I reckon that would be

Moyes back at Everton
Allardyce at Swansea
Pardew at QPR
Holloway at West Ham
Carvahal probably in Spain

Throw in Rafa playing games with Newcastle and potentially being courted by West Ham (why he'd switch from the Toon to the London version I don't know).

What's the record for number of managers to have left their clubs in one week?
